The webshop is operated by, and the seller under the sales contract is, the company identified below (hereinafter: the Seller). This section also serves as the provider information notice (Impressum) required under German law.
2. Scope and language of the contract
These terms apply to consumer orders placed in the webshop for sales to those countries of the European Union that the checkout offers as available delivery destinations.
These terms are available in several languages. All language versions contain identical information; the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where the consumer resides always take precedence and are in no way limited by these terms.
3. Ordering and conclusion of the contract
An order is placed by assembling the shopping cart, providing the delivery details and initiating payment. Placing an order entails an obligation to pay, as indicated by the label on the order confirmation button.
The contract is concluded when the Seller confirms the order by e-mail. The confirmation lists the products ordered, the prices and the delivery cost.
4. Prices and payment
The prices shown are stated in the currency applicable to the selected destination country and include value added tax. The delivery cost is itemised at checkout before payment.
Payment is made by secure online card payment (processed by Stripe). The Seller does not store any card details.
5. Delivery
The products ordered are delivered by courier to the address provided at checkout. The estimated delivery time and the delivery charge are displayed at checkout before the order is finalised.
If the parcel arrives damaged, please have the courier draw up a damage report and notify the Seller at the contact address below.
6. Right of withdrawal
The consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product. Withdrawal may be exercised using the button on the webshop's Withdrawal page or by sending an unequivocal statement to the Seller.
In the event of withdrawal, the Seller will refund the full amount paid, including the standard delivery charge, no later than 14 days after being informed of the withdrawal, using the same means of payment as the original transaction. The Seller may withhold the refund until it has received the product back or the consumer has provided proof of having returned it, whichever is earlier.
The direct cost of returning the product is borne by the consumer. Where possible, please return the product in its original packaging, complete and unused; any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the product may be deducted from the refund.
7. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed products which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery. Water treatment products with opened packaging fall into this category: unopened products may be returned, opened ones may not.
The right of withdrawal likewise does not apply to products made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.
8. Legal guarantee of conformity and commercial warranty
In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer is entitled under EU law to a legal guarantee of at least two years, under which they may request repair or replacement or, failing that, a price reduction or termination of the contract. If the law of the consumer's country of residence provides a longer or more favourable period, that period applies.
Any manufacturer's warranty accompanying the product does not affect the above rights and may be exercised in addition to them.
9. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints may be submitted to the Seller's e-mail address below; the Seller will respond substantively within 30 days at the latest.
If the complaint cannot be resolved, the consumer may turn to the consumer protection authority or an alternative dispute resolution (conciliation) body in their Member State of residence. In Hungary, the competent body is the county conciliation board for the consumer's place of residence.
10. Country annex: Germany and Austria
The provider information (Impressum) is set out in Section 1. The model withdrawal instructions required under German law (Widerrufsbelehrung) correspond in substance to Section 6; a withdrawal may be declared either via the webshop's Withdrawal page or by free-form e-mail.
For deliveries to Germany, the Seller will fulfil its registration and licensing obligations under the German Packaging Act (VerpackG) before commencing sales to Germany.
11. Country annex: France
Consumers in France have access to the consumer mediation procedure provided for by the French Consumer Code. The name and contact details of the mediation body designated by the Seller will be published here before sales to France commence.
12. Final provisions
Matters not governed by these terms are subject to Hungarian law, provided that this does not deprive the consumer of the protection afforded by the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence.
The Seller may amend these terms with effect for the future; each order is governed by the version in force at the time the order is placed.
